Give the World – offered by Space Services, Inc. – is the first licensed commercial product from the DISH Network Corporation’s Earth Camera System, which takes daily photos of Earth from DISH Network’s EchoStar 11 satellite. EchoStar 11 is a communications satellite that orbits Earth at approximately 22,237 miles (35,787 kilometers) in altitude at 110° west longitude. The satellite’s orbit – called a “geosynchronous orbit” – allows EchoStar 11 to remain at the same position above the Earth 24 hours a day. |
